Hey there!
Welcome to the Balm of Gilead. My name is Donny and I have been in various types of ministries over the years and I have seen people crushed under the weight of sin, despaired by the present state of the church as a whole, and despondent over the future of their lives. It is my desire to see people whole…body, soul, and spirit. As a child of God, you can walk free of guilt and healed inside and out.
I have grown up in church but always wanted something more than just plain religion. Religion is good…it feeds the hungry, clothes the needy, and makes everyone “feel” good. However there is more to it than that. I wanted that connection with God that can only be provided for by the atoning work of Christ on the cross. Since age 12, I have actively pursued that relationship.
Something wonderful happened to me a few years ago…I learned the truth of the Word. It’s not a struggle for me to love God. I walk in His love every day. Do I stumble? Absolutely! Do I have my own set of problems that are unique to me. Uh huh! However, now I know that I can fully rest in His grace. It’s a faith walk now. No striving or struggling. It’s all about me accepting and walking in His love.
I am still being changed by Holy Spirit into the image of Christ. Every day, I desire to become more like Him. I’m not waiting for God to punish me for doing wrong. I walk in His grace and allow Him to change me. If I tried, then it would be my works. I am my Father’s son and it is my desire to please Him every day.
Join with me as we search the real world and the Word of God to find Truth. Jesus is Truth! And don’t forget….Truth has a bellybutton. Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

Hi Donny, you have a unique way of writing but the point gets out there well. I hope you will continue with your messages. You may want to give a better background on your testimony and what exactly you believe. Take care.
You are right on, Donny. Religion can do nothing. It is that connection with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ that has any power in our lives! Glad to see another believer getting the truth out! Bless you.
Religion has a purpose and should be the result of our relationship with him. True religion is taking care of true widows and orphans. That’s a good thing, but it can’t replace Christ living on the inside.. Thanks M!

Religon is like the water in a fountain it is contained……the Holy water that we want is the water that flows out of the throne of God. Once you have touched that water that is all you want. Love you Shirley Rowzee
