You Deserve The Glory

As I’ve been trying to rest from an illness, I have been spending some time soaking in the presence of the Lord. Yes, we all can get sick but I’m fully convinced that “by His stripes I am healed” Psalm 53:5 He starts out the chapter by saying, “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? As I have been allowing myself to just rest in Him, I heard the Lord speak to me, “Who can stand in My presence?” I believe the arm of the Lord has been revealed to me in Jesus Christ!

I’m doing all the necessary things in the flesh, which is wisdom, but when I boil it all down, God is my healer. If you’ve read enough of my posts, you know I like my teas. So, I’m drinking hot and cold tea of various flavors. Tea, rest, and worship are my prescription from my Physician. This may not be your prescription but when I need help, it comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth.

Two songs that I’ve found recently come from three amazing guys, Joshua Aaron, Shilo Ben Hod, and Nazir Francis. There are links on my other site, Let The Worshippers Arise. They are You Deserve The Glory and Above All. Both are sung in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. These two songs along with a few others are on repeat as I let them play while I sleep and when I wake up, I’m encouraged and strengthened because even when I’m asleep, my spirit isn’t. Jude encourages us to “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,” Jude 1:20

As you face your day or even an illness, know that He is above all, powers, principalities, and dominion. Stand in the freedom where Christ has made you free. Philippians 2:9 says that God has given Him a name which is above every name. Either He is or He isn’t. I believe as He being the Way, the Truth, and the Life that He is.
