I was reading this the other day. A friend of mine posted it on Facebook and I thought it merited repeating. It’s by Brennan Manning from his book, The Ragamuffin Gospel: Good News for the Bedraggled, Beat-Up, and Burnt Out. Brennan has a unique way of showing grace and God’s heart and reason for showing grace. As you are reading this, maybe you will see yourself in it. Maybe you will see the brokenness and the hurt that you are facing today and have a revelation of God’s love for you. Take a moment and hear the Father’s heart for you.

‘But how?’ we ask.
Then the voice says, ‘They have washed their robes and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’
There they are. There *we* are – the multitude who so wanted to be faithful, who at times got defeated, soiled by life, and bested by trials, wearing the bloodied garments of life’s tribulations, but through it all clung to faith.
My friends, if this is not good news to you, you have never understood the gospel of grace.”
