While praying this morning, God spoke something to me. He said to watch how He operates. I wasn’t asking Him for anything so I really didn’t know what to expect. I thanked Him just for being able to hear His voice and knew He would show me whatever He wanted whenever He wanted.

I am so blessed to live in a beautiful country area. The mountains are so majestic. The trees tell the splendor of His glory. Many people are friendly here. Maybe it’s because the pace is so much slower. I don’t know. It is nothing to see animals grazing and crops growing. It is truly is a blessing to be here.

So here I am driving through God’s country and I look over and see a mama horse fussing over her baby. I was instantly connected with what God was saying to me. He told me earlier to watch how He operates. I began to thank Him for this picture of His concern. I was reminded of the words of Jesus when He says to look at the sparrow, how they neither toil nor sow but their heavenly Father takes cares of them. I also remembered about the lilies in the field, how they do nothing and yet even Solomon was not arrayed in such splendor.

My friend, whatever challenge you face today, whatever has shaken your world, whatever fears you may have about the future, remember that God takes care of His own. If God can show us how much He cares for His creation, how much more does He care for you? I believe we should take care of the environment but I also believe that we, the part of His creation that was made after His own image and likeness, are more valuable than anything else. YOU are more valuable and precious to Him.
