It is been an extremely busy but productive couple of weeks. The Valor Healing Conference was so rewarding a couple weeks ago. Today, I heard a testimony of a woman who came to the Conference and had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She went back to the doctor who ran another set of MRI’s and blood tests and there is no trace of it in her body. PRAISE GOD!!!! Another brother shared his testimony of how God healed him of crippling MS 13 years ago, while he and his wife were worshiping the Lord. God is so good! There is no doubt in my mind that God still heals the physical body. It’s happening today as it should.
This weekend was the Restoring Broken People seminar. All through the sessions, the underlying theme was God’s undeniable desire AND ability to restore from hurts, brokenness, and addictions. Even those in attendance felt the love of God to walk them out of their own hurts and the empowerment to help others.
God revealed something to me that helped me. I knew this passage of scripture but I don’t think I’ve ever viewed it in this light. In Genesis 1, the Bible says that the earth was void. When you examine this passage, there is the revelation that the earth existed before and it was judged for some reason. Through my own study of the Word, I believe that the earth existed before and something caused its destruction. What really jumped out at me was God’s desire to restore it. Just think, this hunk of rock floating in space and God had a plan for it. I can validate this thinking because Jesus even said the sparrows don’t sow or toil, yet the Father takes care of them. What a loving Father!
After God restores the earth, He plants a garden and creates Adam and Eve. Even after they fall, God still shows compassion on them. He then takes an innocent and kills it to make clothing for them. Sound familiar? From the dawn of creation, God has been busy restoring and bringing back to life the things that were broken. Finally, once and for all, Jesus…an innocent…was sacrificed so that we could be whole. There is no more need for a sacrifice. He paid it once and for all!
What is so cool is that He in turn gave us power to restore. One of the remedies of the anointing is to restore (heal) the broken hearted. Just as Jesus paid the ultimate price, He in turn passed it on to us. He empowered us to heal those who were broken by reason of the fall or by reason of their own sin. The power of One has now been imputed to you. The power of One has now become the power of One plus one plus one plus one. Get the picture? No wonder Jesus said “greater things than these will you do.”
What will you do with that power? Will you hold it to yourself so you don’t lose it or will you take what has been placed in your hands and give it away? The saying “Use it or lose it” comes to mind. I believe that if we don’t use it, then we will lose it and its power. It won’t work for us unless we use it for someone else.
For as through the one man’s diobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
